I’ve watched Rick work his gift for many years. I remember when he first got excited about color, he told me it was terrifying to dip his brush into those bold, vibrant paints that now seem to flow effortlessly from his brush. His approach to his artwork is a reflection of his courageous, ever-curious approach to life. His choice of subject, usually wild life, speaks of his enormous love for all things living. We love Rick, as an artist and a wonderful, compassionate person, who lives life fully.
Having seen Rick’s work in person, I have a list of things that I would love to commission him to paint for me. His final paintings make the original photo pale in comparison. His passion for life shines in his paintings. Can’t wait to see what develops on his next canvas.
Wow, who is this guy – he can really paint! The people of Parker are lucky to have such an exceptionally talented and versatile artist living in their midst. Rick deserves every accolade he gets! He is certainly on his way to fame and fortune. Perhaps then, he can spend time on a beach somewhere, maybe Costa Rica, painting and writing about dolphins and colorful tropical birds.
I have been witness to Rick’s passion for painting from the first brush stroke to the final masterpiece. I can attest to the inspiration and feeling Rick transfers on to a canvas. Rick is the real deal! Art enthusiasts need to take a close look at his talent.
Omg—these two are adorable! Rick manages to catch
the animals’ spirit – this is a little crazy, but it’s like I can see personality in his painting…
